I think  with all forms of fear /resistance it is important to recognize it for the lesson that it is rather than it being a problem, or something that is wrong with you. 
When you make yourself wrong for procrastinating you loose the opportunity to discover what is really going on for you.</description>

In the first case you&#039;ve outlined, procrastination is actually a *good* thing - it helps you to slow down and get really clear on what you want to do before proceeding. 

In the second case, procrastination helps to show you the underlying fear so you can deal with it instead of letting it get in your way. 

I totally agree with your advice to be gentle with yourself and cast the light of awareness. In either case, beating yourself up does no good whatsoever.</description>
