What’s YOUR Game? What do YOU Do?
Posted by: | CommentsThis morning I was catching up on my blog reading and I came across this challenge put forth by IttyBiz.
Since I am fairly caffeinated and need somewhere for all this energy to go, I figured “What the Hell…I’ll play along”. (The suggestion of cake as a reward when you are done certainly helped fuel my desire too.)
So here we go!
What’s your game? What do you do?
I help unconventional, non-conforming souls, like you, identify the ‘pre-packaged beliefs’ that are standing between you and your living your kick-ass dream life.
I have an uncanny ability to see the hidden patterns in people’s behavior and stories about their lives. I can hear the conflicts between what you want and your ‘stories’ about how the world works and what is possible for you. I like to go deep and explore what is underneath the surface….this must be the mermaid in me…..and I have never been afraid to question people about these things and call out what I see.
It leads to a lot of “ah-ha” moments for my clients.
Once we identify these beliefs we re-write them so that they support you in living your kick-ass life right now.
Why do you do it? Do you love it, or do you just have one of those creepy knacks?
I love this question!
I do it because I can’t help myself! (Ask my boyfriend…. it drives him crazy!!)
I truly believe that we all have the ability to live our own version of a kick-ass life. It’s my mission to help you do that if you want it.
Who are your customers? What kind of people would need or want what you offer?
This questions is tricky because I work with so many different kinds of people….but that said, I believe that I work best with people who have these things in common:
- You are non-conformists and don’t really care about fitting in.
- What you do care about is living a life that gives you the freedom and flexibility to be your ‘freaky’ self and you want to support yourself in a way that feels meaningful and satisfying.
- You feel that you have something bigger to offer the world than what you have been doing up till now, and you want help bringing that forward in your life in a way that feels good.
- You are looking for someone who accepts your unconventional lifestyle choices and ideas and supports you in going for your wild and crazy dream.
(When I say non-conforming and unconventional, I am talking about being someone who is making choices to live life outside of the mainstream mentality. For example; You are poly, you hang out at BDSM clubs, you live for Burning Man each year, you are pagan, you love kink, the idea of living a vanilla life makes you crazy!)
What’s your marketing USP? Why should I buy from you instead of the other losers?
You should buy from me because I get you. I am a ‘freak’ too. I won’t judge you, and I understand what it is like to be constantly having to blaze your own trail.
I understand how being a non-conforming soul puts you in an interesting position of knowing that you don’t want what the mainstream is promoting, but you have no idea how to make what you do want happen.
I am also fun, I will call you out on your shit, and I encourage you to discover what feels right to you.
What’s next for you? What’s the big plan?
I have all kinds of big plans!
Over the next few moths I’m committed to making my blog totally kick-ass and inviting all of you to subscribe to my list.
I will be offering a series of free classes aimed at enticing you to join the Defy the Box Sphere that will help you create the KICK-ASS Life that you dream about.
The first class up is The 5 Steps to Creating Your Kick-Ass Life you can get more info here.
I will also be doing a call about Flying Your Freak Flag High and Proud, and How to Kick-Fears Ass When it Gets in the Way of Your Living Your Dream Life.
This will all be topped off by the opportunity for some of you to participate on my group program happening in January called A Crash Course in Creating Your Kick-Ass Life. This intensive program will teach you everything you need to know to create the life of your dreams in a naturally unfolding way.
I also am working on getting My Kick-Ass Dream Life, my online radio show, out to a much bigger audience. I want to get up to 1,000 weekly listener in the next 6 months.
Whew! This was fun! Now I need to find some cake to eat!
If this inspired you to sign up for my list, you can do that here.
Why do people do this?
Posted by: | CommentsI am really curious to hear what you think about something.
So, last week I was having an awesome conversation with Pace Smith of the Freak Revolution about living your kick-ass dream life and being awesome, and we got off onto a tangent about this crazy statistic that says the vast majority of people need to have something really bad happen in order for them to do something about improving their lives.
This drives me crazy!!!
Why does the shit have to hit the fan before someone will take the time to focus on what would make their lives better?
It seems to me that it would be so much easier and life would get kick-ass really fast, if you spent your time fine tuning and focusing on the things that would make your life even cooler, rather than waiting until things are crappy and you have to do something to fix it.
But, that doesn’t seem to be the case for the majority of people.
I wonder why?
What are your thoughts about this?
