Leah, I so appreciate your shift in energy! Always love reading your blog, but loved this post the BEST!We don’t need to get other people’s permission to be our unique selves, and we don’t need to hit them over the head with our unique-ness (“pushiness”). Interesting, I have the same experience, I kept pushing myself trying to do what others say that I have to do in order to be successful and found that all I achieved was misery. Now I do what feels right and good and yes, success may be slower but I am happier while I get there.
