Creating From a Place of Alignment
ByHere’s part four of my series describing the three key components to flying your freak flag so you can AMP UP your shine factor and make more money.
In my last post I talked about taking a stand and giving people something to believe in.
Now it’s time to talk about what will make you super shiny!!
Key #3- Creating from a place of alignment.
As I’ve said before, if you want to make the big bucks, you need to stand out and be super shiny to the people who resonate with what you’re offering.
Being super shiny comes from feeling great about who you are and what your offering.
In my mind this comes down to creating from a place of ALIGNMENT and LOVING everything that you are putting out there.
What does being in alignment mean?
It means your are lined up with that part of you that knows who you are and where you’re headed. I call it your divine self; you may call it your soul, higher self, god (insert your own term here).
This part of you is constantly communicating with you through your emotions. If you feel good, you’re on the right track. If you feel bad you’re off course.
When you are in alignment you are tapped into your ever abundant and prosperous flow. When you operate from this space things magically fall into place; opportunities appear and you stand out and become super shiny – this leads to more money!
How do you come into this magical, shiny place?
By doing what feels GOOD to YOU in your business.
You offer what you are inspired to offer, in the way that feels best to you, regardless of what anyone else says. When you do this you show up in a powerful way and it makes you super shiny and attractive to the people who want that special something that only you can offer.
Create everything from a place of alignment- programs, emails, blog posts, video’s, sales pages, pricing, EVERYTHING!
Tune into your inner guidance, feel for your alignment and trust yourself.
Alignment is simple enough to follow – when you feel good, you are in alignment and super shiny.
When things feel off, forced, or fake, you’re out of alignment, and you fade back into the big beige blur.
Are you ready to become super shiny?
This is a great place to start:
1. Practice feeling for your alignment.
Being in alignment = feeling good.2. Where are you out of alignment in your business?
For example – Where are you following a blueprint or doing what your coach says even though it feels off to you?
Where are you struggling?
If it feels forced or you’re not getting the results you want – ditch it!!3. Tune into your inner guidance – what are you excited about offering people?
Don’t get caught up in what other people are doing. This is your business. Offer what you want to offer the way you want to offer it.
Only offer what you LOVE!4. Think about your super powers and the most kick-ass way to share them with people.
If only booking client sessions 3 days a week feels kick-ass, you go for it.
If you enjoy working 1 on 1 with people rather than offering group programs, do it!5. Speak and write in your own voice.
Focus on communicating in a way that feels true to you. Your fans will get it.6. Spend time appreciating and loving up everything you are offering. This is an important step! The more time you spend loving up and appreciating what you have created, the more you amplify the energy of it. This makes it super shiny and irresistible to other people.
Are you noticing any places that you feel out of alignment in your business right now?

Loved this post! Really resonate with the whole alignment factor. I’ve had a cold going on week 3 (actually I think I released the first cold and a second cold snuck in right away)and feeling a bit sorry for myself. After reading your article I know what I need to do to push through and ride out the storm…stay positive, focused and filled with gratitude as this too shall pass and I’ll be vibrant and full of energy once again. Oh my, I can see it now!!!

Love it Leah! Alignment is so crucial-if and when we want to act with intention we have to bring ourselves into one-ness with our greater purpose.

YES! When we are operating in alignment, things FLOW with more ease! Love this! Anytime I have ever done something that was out of alignment with my values, my personality or me, the energy was clogged and the vibe sucked the life out of me. And it never lead to anything productive or lucrative.

How do I love thee, Leah Shapiro…let me count the ways… “You offer what you are inspired to offer, in the way that feels best to you, regardless of what anyone else says. When you do this you show up in a powerful way and it makes you super shiny and attractive to the people who want that special something that only you can offer.” Freakin’ brilliant. And a great explanation of what it means to be “in alignment”

Love it and so happy that I’m creating the product I love! It’s going to be real and in the hands of people so soon I can almost taste it! Yay!
Thanks for the fabulous reminder – I’ll be looking for the things that are not in alignment and shedding them or changing them as needed.
Hugs and butterflies,
~Teresa~

“This part of you is constantly communicating with you through your emotions. If you feel good, you’re on the right track. If you feel bad you’re off course.”
I definitely understand what you’re trying to say here, but I’ve found that someone needs to differentiate between the “feeling bad”/”discomfort” out of fear/resistance versus that “feeling from the gut that you are not living your potential”. That is found only by that person listening to their own body’s reactions/thoughts and separating out the “this is not good for me” vs. “I’m scared”.
It’s very true that when you are aligned, the pieces start falling into place. Loved this post!

I love this! It’s all so true, and I can *feel* when it’s all in alignment. But then those little voices can sometimes creep in and tell me I’m not doing it like I *should* or maybe I’m doing it wrong because if I’m not wrong, then why isn’t there more business (and those sorts of pesky thoughts). But inside, I know what you’re saying here is so true. And I’m getting better at it. Still working on it, though…

Step 6 — yikes! Why does that feel scary for me? I spend lots of time tweaking, poking, prodding, and twisting what I’ve created — but no time appreciating it. How do I do that, Leah?

The past two days were spent in conversation about something that really makes my blood boil, that I am quite passionate about, I was heated up and couldn’t wait to be involved in sharing information and solutions. Last night when I went to bed, I wondered about that … why it isn’t more of a focus for my time and energy. Obviously I this is a place of alignment for me!
This post really helps me see that even more clearly. Thanks!

I hear what you are saying Hillary- there is a difference between the discomfort of fear/resistance and the and the knowing that you are out of alignment and not living up to your potential….but I find it all comes down to this- bad feelings indicate that you are thinking thoughts that are not in alignment with your desires and intentions.
To me it’s about expansion or contraction. Does what I’m thinking feel expansive/good or does it feel constricted/limiting/bad.

Cynthia- it sounds like you might have discovered your Revolution and something that you want to take a stand for.

You and me both Jessica! I have found that all the tweaking, poking and prodding is an indicator that I feel like it is never good enough. I’m learning to get over that and I have a daily practice of taking time to appreciate everything that I’ve created in my life. I believe that taking time t celebrate and appreciate yourself and your creations is just as important as working out! It’s a habit to develop…just like going to the gym and working out.
Appreciating yourself and what you offer feels all awkward and hard at first, but the more you do it the better it gets!

Hi Gin- those little voices creep in and knock you off course if you pay attention to them. The trick is to say- “hey- I hear you but I choose not to listen” or you can just tell them to “Fuck Off!” and go on being awesome!
April 12th, 2025 at 12:11 pm
I agree Theresa- whatever I’ve created something from a unaligned place….for example thinking I SHOULD Create a group program…or a particular email– or I NEED to do this in order to succeed…and I wasn’t feeling aligned with it- it sucked and the process was rough. I certainly didn’t get the results I was looking for.

Great one Leah! I’m proud to say that I am offering what I am inspired to offer… and I feel good about it! We should not make things hard when they don’t need to be, the simple trick is just being aligned and it will make everything easier. xoxo

I’m falling in love with your blog Leah!
“Being super shiny comes from feeling great about who you are and what your offering.”
I feel good about what I’m offering, but not great! From now before offering a new programme or creating a post I’m going to tune into my Higher Self and feel great!
Thanks for 6 step guidance list! Will let you know how it’s going to work for my next issue of the newsletter!

hi Leah!
Love the specificity of this post.. and believe with all my heart that we need to hear our own guidance.. and feel for it in the ways you so beautifully outlined. It’s in those feeling places that we really know when we’re “lined up”.. Looking outside of ourselves, even thru others’ with wisdom won’t work as well unless we can feel that it’s the right step for us. Love your lists as always!!

Good, solid, succinct advice.
I agree. I have struggled with the notion of choosing what to offer and putting it out there vs offering what people want. Some authorities advocate tuning into your audience and creating something around them. I understand their point, yet what you suggest feels so much more authentic!

Maritia-
You make a great point about creating something around your audience.
BUT- when you’re fully showing up in your business, acknowledging your super powers, sharing what your here to share- and feeling really good about it- you will naturally attract people who want it.
It’s the nature of the Universe- you will attract people who feel the same way about what you are offering.
I find that when people aren’t fully showing up and owning what they really want to do- that is when they need to look outside of themselves….because they don’t trust themselves to know.
